Ligaya's Filipino Food

We ordered pinakbet, and the flavor was just okay. However, I was really disappointed with the vegetables, especially the okra—it was so tough that it felt like the seeds could start growing in my stomach! They also used way too much food coloring. The menudo was the same—too much food coloring instead of tomato sauce. This was our second time ordering takeout, and both times we were let down. The food definitely isn’t worth the price. The food was mediocre, but the customer service was quite disappointing. The woman who helped us, possibly the owner’s daughter, hurried us to place our order in an unfriendly way. She never smiled, appeared grumpy, and had a negative attitude the entire time. We left feeling let down and do not plan to return. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Lunch Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

First of all, I absolutely love Ligaya's Filipino Food! Not only is the food incredible, but the staff also makes you feel so welcome. My favorite dishes from the menu are definitely the BBQ and the pork steak! Sometimes I spend hours here doing my homework and honestly wish I could come all the time.
