Every time I’ve tried to reach a manager over the phone, I’ve been unsuccessful. I’ve been advised to call ahead or place my order online, but there’s still a long wait — so what’s the point? In the mornings, I typically wait less when the blonde girl with curly hair is working since my drinks are prepared to my preferred taste and consistently good. However, tonight's experience was frustrating. I waited about 30 minutes, and when I asked one of the staff members about my drinks, who had only handed me one, she took another 10 minutes to give me the second one. Every time I try to reach a manager, I can't get through. Even when I order online or call ahead, the wait is still too long, which makes me question the point of those services. Mornings are much better with the blonde girl who has curly hair; she makes my drinks quickly and they consistently meet my taste standards, so I don’t mind the wait then. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for reading or having a conversation. There are sofa beds, small tables, outdoor seating, cozy corners, and interesting artwork. I went in for a coffee and some reading time. While I can't comment on the food since I didn’t order anything, the dishes that passed by looked appealing. You can also enjoy the convenience of having your food and drinks brought to you rather than having to go to the counter. I’ll definitely be returning for more reading and coffee. They also offer a range of signature drinks. My only wish is for a greater variety of teas.
The atmosphere is very cozy, great for reading or chatting. Sofa beds, small tables, outdoor tables, nooks, and paintings. I went to get coffee and read. I can't rate the food as I didn't get any, but the dishes that did come by looked good. They would also bring your food/drinks to where you were sitting at rather than having to go upto the counter to pick it up. Will definitely come back to read some more and get coffee here. The coffee I had was quite enjoyable—I tried the lavender flavor. The atmosphere was lovely, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. However, I did notice that there was no shade available outside! The service was good, though the food took a little longer to prepare. Considering the server was handling both drinks and food on her own, I completely understood the delay.
I absolutely love Lighthouse Coffee! The service is consistently prompt and friendly. They are truly committed to crafting excellent coffees and mixed drinks, and I always look forward to exploring the new options on their thoughtfully curated menu. Midlothian could really benefit from more places like Lighthouse!
