L'ile Aux Pizzas - Tisch reservieren

OK, if you are expecting classic Italian pizza forget it. However, if you want reasonably priced, great tasting food this is the place. It's within easy walking distance of the B&B hotel we were staying at. The restaurant does takeaway and eat in pizza but it's very much a French take on pizza mostly with Emmenthal cheese instead of mozzarella. The restaurant only seats around thirty people. We went on a Thursday evening and there were four of us and only one other person. The restaurant is clean, fairly basic but atmosphere is provided by the wood burning ovens in which the pizzas are cooked. This was one of the only places to eat within walking distance of our Hotel Chantepie. It was a busy little take out pizzeria and had half a dozen tables as well. They were very friendly and had a great choice of pizzas cooked in a wood burning oven, also had salads, pasta etc on the menu. They served bottled beer, wine and drinks and we enjoyed our evening there. Would recommend highly if you are in the area because the downtown area of Joue Les Tours does not have much to offer.

A small, simple but great pizza restaurant Does not look like much from the outside but it served lovely freshly made pizzas and good wine all delivered by a very attentive and small team of lovely staff. It was a very pleasant experience and we really enjoyed the evening simple but great quality. Would definitely return and recommend great value as well Merci!

Really sweet restaurant. Only a few tables. The staff were very patient with our limited French. Pizzas were excellent and very reasonable. Food was served quickly and my little one loved seeing the pizza oven in action. Definitely worth a visit.

Really nice people and great pizza. We ate in as with kids and they were helpful and accommodating as clearly not used to families! They were great though. Would definitely recommend.
