My partner and I stopped by this restaurant on our last morning in Harrogate during a short trip. Despite being regulars in the town, we had never been here before. What a pleasant surprise! We received a warm and friendly welcome, enjoyed delicious coffee, and I must say, the sausage and bacon sandwich I had was the best I've had in a long time. My partner's scrambled egg was also fantastic, as I could tell from the small taste I took. We definitely plan on trying their full English breakfast during our next trip to Harrogate.
We had a fantastic breakfast at this restaurant, as we always do. However, there was one unpleasant aspect during our visit. There was a man who comes in regularly, and unfortunately, he had a strong odor and behavior that was off-putting. He was loudly burping and picking at his dirty, overgrown fingernails, which detracted from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. Despite this, I understand that he is a paying customer who frequents the restaurant.
We had an excellent meal here today. Lasagne and salad. The lasagne was fresh, home made and was really tasty. The salad was lovely, not just a bit of lettuce but a variety of lettuce, strawberry, pineapple, grape, tomato, cucumber, coleslaw and potato salad. A really delicious meal and excellent value. The gentleman who served us was lovely, really helpful. I’d definitely recommend coming here.
This restaurant is a hidden gem! It is conveniently located for shopping, and the atmosphere is lovely and clean with very friendly staff. I ordered the scrambled eggs with toast, and it was beautifully presented. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back.
