Definitely worthy of a 5 star rating. First time visitors on a short break to the area. Hygiene is immaculate my wife is particular about the greasy spoon smell this place is lovely. We ordered full English Breakfast and tea and had our breakfasts cooked freshly and served after roughly 15 mins everything was cooked to perfection and not swimming in grease. Service was top class, lovely staff great and atmosphere about the place. Owners should be proud. Will definitely return in the future. Jonny Talia x
we had breakfast at lillys one morning we order then the drinks came and 30 minutes later the food came ? I order a full breakfast hash browns were over cook and hard my egg was the same the bacon was burnt my partners breakfast was the same nw normally you would say why did you not say something. .. but why if you are a long standing cafe I would expect you to provide the goods but unfortunately not in this case for me I wouldn't go back again
What a great little cafe with real home cooked food, the cottage pie was delicious, extremely friendly staff, didn't get the name of our waitress but she had the best customer service skills, she brought our furbaby a sausage for his dinner, yes Lillys is dog friendly too, this cafe was very clean and well kept, we will definitely be returning when we visit Hornsea again. Thank you to all the staff, you made our anniversary a treat.
We had read the reviews on Tripadvisor for Lily's Cafe, after seeing it on a walk along the seafront! We both ordered full English breakfasts and lattes... the breakfasts were perfect! I'm a fussy meat eater and I couldn't fault the breakfast at all. Staff were friendly and we were able to have our dogs sit with us outside. I had lunch today with my daughter and was very pleased with the service and price . The food I had, steak and ale pie, was delicious, The only problem was that as I am 86 years old and visually impaired I found the entrance ramp a little difficult but it is a congested area and would be difficult to change. I shall certainly be going back again though.
This is in the perfect location I took my granddaughter for breakfast after the storm and watching the waves at high tide. My granddaughter said her hot chocolate was the best she’s ever had. My poached eggs were amazing. The decor is lovely and such friendly staff. We will definitely be back. Thankyou.
