We have eaten here a couple times and were amazed at the quality and quantity of the food! The combination plate with an extra egg roll was more than enough for us two seniors; we stuffed ourselves and took some home. The last time we each had a lunch special and ended up having another lunch each at home. Delicious! No other word for it. The fried rice has wonderful flavour and is hot when it comes to your table. The egg rolls are meaty and taste great. There is nice crisp bean sprouts in the chow mein. We have enjoyed Chinese-style food at Chinese communities in North America and relished authentic Chinese food in coastal and central China. We have visited Lin Garden at lunch and dinnertime in 2016 May and July. We have not used take-out although the restaurant locally is popular for its take-out service.The restaurant service failed when we were dinnertime eat-in customers. The front of house at first was empty but gradually built to about 15 diners.The server enjoyed her cell phone while tossing menus afore us. The foods were kitsch expectations drenched in sauces sweet or sour or both. The pork was unidentifiable; the chicken desiccated. The rice was al dente instead of fluffy.The lunch...
The stay at the nearby hotel and on site was closed for the day. Not really familiar with the area so went after a meal. After the trip in the dark found Lin Garden for a while. Parking was empty, so did not know about the customer's food. The whole lot is a good sign. That wasn't worrying. Telephone orders came in and took out, was a steady flow. Decided on dinner for 2. Could 3 easily feed with the addition of an extra egg roll and sommen soup. The food was good and not salted. Would eat there again. Due to the Kovid19 the seat was limited. This has not touched us as we had taken it out. The restaurant was clean and the lady on the counter was busy and efficient. I'd go back in the area.
Comfortable surroundings, always good fresh food, good service, and big servings so we can enjoy the tasty leftovers! We've eaten here many times, and it's our first choice for Chinese food from Amherst to Halifax. We've recommended it to numerous friends who agree.
large proportions in the combo, substitutions were easily absorbed. Food was good, but the Chow mien is very salty and my bf although his beef tasted n Brocoli, but I didn't.
Meat lovers pizza was a joke (hardly any meat on it) I paid for thin crust on two different pizzas and was only given thin crust on one of them.
This has to be my favorite place to order pizza. The crust is crisp and the toppings are fresh. Delivery is always friendly and quick.
This review is for the Glen Lake location, for some reason it does not existPersonally, I have never had a better Hawaiian pizza.
The plates are huge. Like that they will switch an item. Egg rolls are good and that homemade plum sauce, wow.
