This restaurant is still a great option for those looking for a delicious bratwurst and beef sandwich. I had never been before and was pleased to see that they now offer various meat options. I ordered mine medium rare and my partner ordered theirs medium, both sandwiches had a delicious bark. I upgraded to the sweet potatoes for an extra 30 cents and it was definitely worth it, they were delicious especially with the chipotle ranch to dip in. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. The restaurant seems a bit older and may be a bit harder to find, but overall it was a great experience.

My childhood neighbor, whom I have known since I was 5 years old, was visiting town. Like many of my family and friends, he insisted on going to Lion's Choice while in town. As always, I was not disappointed. We ordered Roast beef sandwiches, fries, and drinks to go.
Always happy here. This is the first restaurant I remember we ate at when we came to St. Louis in 1970. My hometown favorite. Thank you for the gluten free chicken sandwich!

Food tasted good but the fries were not crispy, the sandwich was a little soggy but otherwise the service was nice and the store was neat and clean
We drive for hours to get our fix of that rare roast! This location is just down the street from family.. great service and of course great food!
