Being from the south, where good Barbeque is abundant, I was skeptical that Lippy's Ribs and Brisket platter was going to be worth a damn. We bought ours to go and I picked it up on a Saturday night. My wife and I ate till we were full and still had enough meat and beans left for lunch the next day. The brisket had a black pepper crust and the meat was tender and savory. The ribs were pull off the bone tender and sweet. The fries, cornbread and beans were wrapped to retain heat and freshness for the 20 minute ride home. They were delicious when served. I would put Lippy's Barbeque up against Florida's finest. Next visit, we will probably eat at Lippys. The place seemed very clean and nobody...
We had a fantastic experience here on our way to the local theater. The food is definitely not your average bar fare— we enjoyed some of the best quesadillas we've ever tasted, along with some incredible loaded French fries. The space is large and inviting. The owner was bartending during our visit and was wonderful to talk to, contributing to a very relaxed atmosphere. We can’t wait to stop by again!
Been there three times over the past few months. Food and atmosphere has been excellent. Servers are attentive and friendly. Brisket ribs and pulled pork were spot on and the street corn and pit beans were amazing. The past two time I got a burgers, The PIt burger, OMG and last time the bacon/pepper jam burger. Probably one of the best burgers I've had (special). wings are huge and flavorful.
Absolutely amazing! The food was incredible—generous portions, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. This is the best authentic BBQ I've had since my time in Austin, TX. We have been here twice in different days at different times and this place does not disappoint! The food and service both times was fantastic! We sat out on the patio, the kids played in the field, and it was a stress free family dinner. Your got to try Lippy’s bar and grilll, check out this smoke house burger. The wings and tacos are delicious as well.
Went here on their first day of being open…food and service were excellent! We shared the Japanese wings, they were the best wings I’ve had in a long time. We also had the black cherry brisket tacos and the BBQ salad, both were excellent. Beers were cold and music was great. Will definitely be coming back (many times)!
Flew in to the small airport next door to restaurant. Lippys just opened owner greeted and served us. Chatted for a while and made us at home. Great vibe. Fun place. Will definitely be back with some other aviators.
