I had an issue with my Lopi foxfire giving multiple codes first it was a pressure error) I went to the Milwaukie location and got a new part that was recommended by Lopi as a solution to the problem. Got home and put the new piece in, new error. Decided to just load the pellet stove into the truck and deliver it to the Milwaukie store. Explained the new error to Paul, he said he’d look at it. Little upset first time coming to see if they had part for a fireplace. I was greeted by an older gentleman quickly asked for a model number I explained it's an older fire place that I just needed the burner with logs set and he quickly said he couldn't help me find what I needed. I tried to keep work closer to local business, but went on Amazon and found exactly what I needed within 5 minutes. I'm not sure why they didn't try to show me a book with parts or something just flat out didn't want my business I guess.
They got my 2 year old broken fireplace replaced same day. They heard my old fireplace vendor made me wait 6 weeks in winter with it down and then told me it would be $2k to fix it. Oh this was my only heat source. They bent over backwards to help me. And the replacement cost less than the original fireplace with more features.
We found the people at this company to be very helpful and courteous. Although we didn't purchase anything at the time, they allowed us to wander around their store one afternoon, looking at things and asking lots of questions. I give this company 1 star because they recommend R D Installations, INC. which is a nightmare of a company to deal with. I'm still fighting with them to get a refund for services I paid for over a year ago. Thanks for the great recommendation Lisac. Don't trust their recommendation. Please do your own due diligence!!!
What a great experience,.. I had taken some notes and some photos of the chimney pipes I needed and there were two ladies there that knew exactly what I needed to fit my chimney pipes back together. Took the 30+ year old pipes and updated with new double walled wood stove pipes. They really did make my day,..
They sold us beautiful fireplaces. When the remotes stopped working one month after the warranty expired they came out and fixed them for free. Andy, who serviced the fireplaces, cleaned then even though that isn't why he came out!
