After reading the great reviews we decided to give this small cafe a try for breakfast. Upon arrival it’s a nice small cafe with a great atmosphere. Love the interior decor and classic homely feel. Service was good, we were seated quickly and attended to promptly. BUT the food is what we came for. Food: We ordered red chilaquiles with potatoes scrambled eggs. I ordered the chicken fried steak with hash browns and biscuit with gravy. The good: The chicken fried steaks and biscuits with gravy were very good. The steak was a really small portion but the quality was there. The bad: everything else was pretty bad today. The chilaquiles were overcooked tortillas and the sauce lacked flavor but did...
Dear Lisas's Coffee Shop Owner. Your reputation of good quality prepared food is at risk. The cook will make or break you. The breakfast this morning 07/20/2024 was VERY DISSAPOINTING. Please bring back your original cook and give him the raise he requested. He will be well worth having back and he will save you a lot of money in the long run. He prepared the food very well and kept me coming back for more. I always use to look forward to eating at your coffee shop. But after today not so much. I hope, 1) your new cooks learn how to cook the food better or 2) bring back your old cook.
The service here is good. The guy helping us was super nice and the food came out pretty quick. The food itself wasn't my favorite. I got the biscuits and gravy and felt like the biscuits were flavorless and gravy was just tons of salt. This place is probably best suited for someone who wants a good deal that'll leave them feeling full for the day. All the guys in the family love this place but I think it could use a little cleaning tbh.
I don’t know if it was just today but not a lot of choices on the menu out of everything literally fell like I got half of a chicken breast that was cut so me and my friend can both have lunch not to mention $45 and cash only for a lunch for both Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
They're having difficulties lately. I asked for eggs over medium. Eggs came over fried and runny, sent them back and got new ones that were completely over cooked and dry.
Just love this place, in my opinion it's a tranquil place. Makes you feel right at home. Try it out food is good
