This was exactly what we were looking for! My wife and kids didn't want to drive all the way to Miami for Cuban food, and this cafe hit the spot. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. Nevy, our waitress, was amazing--so friendly and welcoming. She made us feel like we were part of the family, which made our meal even more enjoyable. The food was incredible! The empanadas were delicious, the Cubano sandwich was perfectly made, and the Cuban coffee was the best I've ever had. You could tell they put a lot of love and care into their cooking. We had a short stay in the area and wanted to visit a Cuban Cafe or spot with Cafe Con Leche. We couldn't make it to Miami so this spot came up. Didn't really stand out so we missed it and needed to turn around. A smaller spot that was getting ready for Lunch around 10:30. Our Cafe Con Leches were excellent! We wanted Breakfast so ordered a couple of the Omelette sandwiches with Bacon vs Ham (which they switched for us) and a Veggie Omelette Sandwich. Enjoyed all. That said the Veggie stood out. My husband and I had a good breakfast here before heading to the airport. He got iced coffee and I got a small Hot coffee with milk- both were very good. We shared an order of boiled yuca with mojo, which needed a good bit of added salt and pepper but had the perfect texture. He got a loaded croquette sandwich- it needed a little salt and a little more mayo but the croquettes were fried well and the bread was delicious! I got the steak sandwich, with no potatoes on it- it was very good, perfect bread, flavorful steak and lots of fresh lettuce! Next time I would ask to add cheese. The service was friendly and attentive.
Exactly what I was looking for when I told my wife I wanted Cuban food. Little bit of this, little bit of that. Little Cuban Cafe did not disappoint! The chicken and beef empanadas were delicious. Hit, crusty and moist meat inside. The tamale was special... the thick masa was so tasty with a bit of pork inside. Could have stopped right there. My wife had the pork meal and friend had salmon. Both very good. If I had one complaint I'd that the Cuban sandwich was a bit dry. Could have used more mustard and pickle. But not enough to dock a star on Yelp. So glad we found this local gem! Was looking for a vaca frita fix and came across this place on Yelp. Ordered over the phone and it was ready in under 10 minutes. The shop is located in a plaza on Griffin so it's easy to miss. They have an inside seating area which is ok. Nothing fancy, but not bad by any means. Got home and devoured the food. Everything was delicious. The vaca frita was super tender and flavorful. My rice, beans yuca and tostones were all just as good. Having paid $15 for all that minus the tostones, I feel like I got my moneys worth. I will def be ordering from them in the future.
Service was quick but at 10 am they were out of most pastries. We had fresh oj a beef empanada and I got the tostones rellenos with picadillo good flavorful but could have used a sauce. My bf got a Cuban Sammy which was legit. Really it's more about the selection outside of the buffet. They were setting it up and it looked really yummy !!next time we will go for lunch and try that
excellent services, I come here several times Food is top, price is top( with less than 20 Dls you can eat as full as you can), the environment is great, pretty girls and very nice too
