We visited Little Duck Diner for lunch. Our server was very friendly and made us feel welcome. He did an excellent job making sure that we were well taken care of. The atmosphere is that of a nice, but small, diner. The name, Little Duck Diner, apparently comes from the fact that they have several menu items that feature duck. I wasn't so brave, instead ordering a California Grilled Cheese Sandwich with a bowl of tomato soup. The sandwich was very good, containing grilled chicken, avocado, pesto, and two kinds of cheese. First time here and it was okay. We arrived about 50 minutes after opening and had around 30 minute wait which was fine. We did like the wait text that shows how many are in front of you and estimated time for seating. We got our table and placed appetizers of risotto balls and crab risotto balls. The crab risotto balls were good just wish you would get more than 4. The plan risotto balls were good but like the crab in them more. We have the avocado toast with eggs, generous portion and exceptional taste. 8 had the sausage croissant with homemade fries, very flavorful. Perfect taste. Beautiful presentation. Beautiful, image perfect food and incredibly friendly/efficient staff. Very enjoyed our meal. I have the Blueberry/Choc.chip waffles, the woman got the avocado toast. We both said they were amazing to see, although the actual meal was just okay (not bad in any way only very average). Fun, entertaining location/decoration/experience with only average dishes.
