Like many of its contemporaries around this part of the world, the Little Hideaway Cafe regardless of the intended name is unsuspecting right on the big stretch of road. Go right into it, and it almost certainly feels worthy of the name. And it is worth trying, so the hideaway is not a bad deal at all. <br/ <br/ My brother in law was staying up from the Northern Rivers at my house for a few days with work commitments. With the last morning that he was up, he went and offered a breakfast out for my birthday the day beforehand. From his work, a colleague of his had mentioned this place and it was relatively new. On the way to visit a cafe along the Riding Road but not yet opened so changed to explore this little cafe further down the road. Walked in and was greeted by a busy barista, who advised me to take a seat and then handed over the menu to me. Not feel very hungry so just ordered the coffee and a slice of fruit toast. Coffee with the brew of dramanti was great with well presented, strong aroma and strength. Fruit toast was presented with a cute piece of butter on top of the toast and garnished with icing. It looked great but was too sweet to me (just a personal preference). Overall, this cafe provides a nice place for coffee with good production and comfort vibe. A little hiding local gem.
I am always looking for funky earthy breakfasts with plenty of eggs, pulses, meat, fish and vegies. At Little Hideout I loved the pork belly with black lentil hash cake and braised red cabbage. Everything on the menue looks terrific and the food is fresh and well presented. Service and ambience first rate and the tea was was well made. We ate this premises non-stop a few years back when it was L' Arte. Good to see the new owners doing so well
First time at Little Hideout Cafe last weekend for breakfast and it was fantastic. Coffee was tasty, the staff friendly and attentive. I had the Breakfast Bruschetta with a side of bacon. My wife had the Bacon Benedict. Loved it. It's surprisingly cosy and quiet inside considering it's on such a busy road. Well done!

I had a fantastic breakfast at Cupcakes Cafe, enjoying the hidden gem of charred asparagus. The Dramanti beans coffee was smooth and amazing, expertly made by a talented barista who prepared my flat white exactly how I asked - half strength, no froth, and perfect. Overall, a great experience.
The food and coffee at this restaurant are fantastic and reasonably priced. I tried the pulled pork omelette and the charred asparagus, both of which were delicious. This place is a hidden gem in the area that hasn't been discovered by many people yet.
This a really nice niche cafe which serves great coffee and interesting meals. There is always a breakfast special. Dining is inside, on the street front, or in the leafy retreat out the back.
I highly recommend this restaurant for its quality coffee, delicious food, and excellent service. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. You won't be disappointed if you give it a try.

Great place for coffee or breakfast, very good menu, delicious breakfast, excellent coffee in pleasant surroundings with attentive staff. Would highly recommend.
Love this little café. Cosy inside and secluded outside, excellent coffee and inventive menu. Fabulous place for a weekly catch up with my girlfriends.
