Food could be hit or miss! Out of all the dishes, Chana Masala was the only dish we enjoyed. Laphing was too spicy and lacked that distinct flavor. Poori was just too oily and little under-cooked. Couldn’t complain about Keema Naan and Lachha Paratha. The big disappointment was chicken Biryani. Mushy rice and lack of biryani flavor. Had to wait over half an hour considering there was only one table whose food was already out. Overall, average food this time but have heard good things about Little Kathmandu. Consistency would give them better chance of competing with so many Nepalese restaurants popping all over bay area.

The fried rice with the Gobi Manchurian tasted delicious and a fantastic pairing. Samosa chaat was delightfully tangy and the chilli momos were saucy and flavorful. The spice level customizations are carefully done the mild offered no teary eyes and the medium had a kick to it. The Nepal ice beer was light and crisp. Portion sizes were huge and we had leftovers over 1 2 more meals. If you'd like to avoid leftovers and are moderately hungry, share a fried rice and an entree to pair it with. Service was attentive and friendly. We'll definitely be back for more!

Sorry, the food was awful. Literally the worst Thali I have ever had anywhere. Just salt. Veggies both undercooked (potatoes, cauliflower) and overcooked (greens). Greens were odious, foul, sulfurous. Dal completely boring, like salty dishwater. Rice cooked ok but plain. Pickles (radish) just salt. One star for clean tables and restroom, and nice lady gave good wait service. Kitchen took too long. Music was a 45 second insipid flute banjo obnoxious thing on skip repeat. Nearly drove me insane.

Exceptional thali experience! The flavors were a symphony of tastes, offering a delightful journey through a variety of dishes. Each element was meticulously prepared, and the presentation was top-notch. The authenticity of the cuisine truly stood out. The staff provided warm and attentive service, enhancing the overall dining pleasure. A must-try for thali enthusiasts, this place sets the bar high for an unforgettable culinary adventure! Low-key best Nepalese restaurant in the East Bay. Excellent meat and veg entrees, very reasonable prices, even in 2023. They have a great thali dinner selection, when thalis (or any combo really) are becoming an endangered species around here.

When I dine alone, my favorite dish is thali, so I can enjoy a rich variety. Little Kathmandu’s thalis are so beautifully presented and delicious. I love that they include a small, sweet kheer, too. What a treat!

First time there. The food was really good. The lamb biriyani was tasty but the meat was a little hard to chew. The butter chicken was scrumptious.
