Most of the restaurants at Newark Airport are #worstfood .This one would be king of worst food ever . I ordered veg fried rice ,in the name of vegetables raw tossed rice and 10 -12 shredded straps of carrots and garnish with spring onion and cilantro LOADED with SALT . I spent 50 dollars and first time ever in my life I didn't eat simple dish of fried rice .I think ambience is the key .Staff is good . So whatever you paying is probably for the drink or the ambience take it with not pinch but a spoonful of SALT my love .thumb down ! I finished my ice though !!!! Yuppppyyyy !
The scent and the lack of other viable options tricked us into trying this place, and we regretted it immediately … the food was bad and ridiculously overpriced, and the poor staff seemed as if they had lost their spirit a very long time ago. The place is horribly mismanaged, and the app ordering system has reduced customer service to zero. I had to ask for my food four times, because they had no clue who had ordered what. My father in law was served his food fifteen minutes before his drink arrived. Just don’t go here.
The service was bad. The people behind the glass were non responsive and didn’t seem slightly happy to be where they are. When I got my food, it was poorly presented. My “salad” was mostly onions. I had the sample platter which should be a good reflection on a restaurant. Not this time. I couldn’t eat the wings because they didn’t appear to be cooked while the dumplings were definitely overcooked. I travel through here a lot. It will be a skip next time indeed.
The waitstaff were nice, I sat in a quiet peaceful room decorated well the pork/leek/shrimp dumplings came out in just a few minutes. Could have been warmer but tasty. Not sure why all the complaints. Sit in the quiet room area. Relax. I was actually surprised this was in an airport.Only negatives: airport price VERY salty soy sauce. Five dumplings were just enough for lunch.
A day of wages spent on extraordinary marginal food, I had to leave it at the table to brush my teeth. The pork belly is actually deep fried shoulder that made me physically sick immediately after tasting. The orange juice was great, all other food I had (fried rice and dumplings were not edible) I feel truly sorry for anyone sitting next to me on my flight home. ?
Never thought about reading reviews for airport restaurant but I should have! Took 20 min to get the fried chicken rice bowl. The rice looks old. Chicken is quite sour. Overpriced $20 for one bowl of chicken over rice. All other good stands/restaurants are about the same price range, ridiculously overpriced. AVOID!!!
Tried twice and everything was bad. worst service is slow, they do not clean the tables, not nice and food is terrible. I can understand the high prices at airports for food, but at least have a good meal and other staff. Staff and food is the worst !!!!
A greasy overpriced pit of despair...had the fried rice (emphasis on fried and vegetable dumplings that were swimming in oil. Service was not so good too. And who wants to stare at another immovable touch screen while they eat. What a convenience!
Absolutely terrible and low grade food... tastes almost dangerous... big mistake eating here... Chicken bowl Korean BBQ wasn't meaty chicken but kiblets... and sauce was terrible
