Liv-Eat is a new franchise of coffee shops in Hobart and Sandy Bay. We had coffee and wraps for breakfast at the Sandy Bay branch (just $9 with a small coffee). The food and coffee were fine, although my bacon and egg wrap was a little sloppy. The chain prides itself on sourcing fresh Tasmania produce and there was a good variety of salads and made to order sandwiches available. Fruit, smoothies and other drinks are available plus free papers. There is plenty of free parking (unlike the city).
I have to admit not being a fan of line up and pick your own food and then wait to be called as I find it daunting when constantly asked if you want this or that on your meal. Today's experience has not really changed this feeling however the staff were very friendly and willing to be patient. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a nice "healthy" feel to it. My nachos were very well presented with the chips still crisp with the fresh vegies on top amazing. Welll worth the money paid.
It is a Tasmanian Shop. I am so proud of it. The coffee price and taste is nothing special compared to other coffee shops (which is nice already). Their smoothies are yummy, good energy for people who need it after the work out. The paleo balls are yummy. Ah, dont forget to get your own a piece of short bread when grabbing your coffee. It is good value and lift up the mood.
While wondering around hobart we stumbled across this busy eatery..ordered a chicken tandoori bowl which was decent in size and tasty..my partner ordered the pumpkin n fetta n cous cous salad and added grilled chicken..decent size and satisfying..service was spot on..every customer was spoken to by staff when leaving..well done to the liv eat fresh team... I often call in for a coffee but continually get frustrated how long it takes to order and receive a simple latte. The staff are often distracted with each other and even when it is not busy at all you often have to try and attract attention just to get the order in. Unless service improves will try other establishments in the area.
Quick lunch. Got a fresh looking Tandoori Chicken Roll. The chicken had never been near a Tandoor oven, none of that lovely tandoor flavour and texture. Just a mushy tasteless mess drenched in a slimy source. Quite revolting. Very inaccurate and dishonest product description.
What can one really say about convenience food? If like me you dont fancy chain outlets then this should appeal. Great vibe. Very helpful and patient staff. This rates as excellent for what it is and definitely worth a visit
