L&l Hawaiian Barbecue

We use to live in Hawaii, I so missed those fabulous plate lunches. Well, this place has them. My favorite was the fried shrimp with rice and macaroni salad with gravy all over them. And, that is what I ordered. The shrimp was hot and crispy without being greasy and the silky tartar sauce was a lovely partner. Their gravy was amazing, I DO pour it over BOTH the rice and macaroni. Perfection.Parking: This is in a small mall, lots of free parking.

Ribs are overcooked, dry and almost black in color. Not hot, just warmed up. Unbelievable. Looks like they cook ribs in the morning and keep for hours in warmers. The girl said this is how it should be cooked. I supposed to know the owner and wish that he reads these reviews. Bad, very bad food.Food: 1/5

Their macaroni salad is the bomb! Our order was ready quickly and the portions were generous. I ordered the mini and still couldn't finish it. Got 2 meals for the price of one.Food: 5/5

This place never disappoints. Delicious food, good portions, and friendly staff! I usually order Laulau, Kalua Pork, and/or Chicken Katsu.Food: 5/5
