Honestly, I had low expectations for this place based on its reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised by the hühnerkatsu. We placed our order over the phone, and it was ready to eat as soon as I arrived for pickup. It's located in Lucky’s Plaza, so there's always ample parking. The regular plate was a little over $10, which I initially thought was a bit pricey. However, when I opened the box, I was amazed at the amount of katsu they provided—almost four layers! They also included a generous serving of macaroni salad. I could easily share this with a friend and still feel full. I’m really impressed with their generous portions and will definitely be returning soon.
The katsu I received was extremely soggy, even though I chose express delivery. I'm confused as to why the curry isn't separated from the katsu; I would happily pay an extra 25 cents for a separate container. Because of this, I ended up with mushy chicken. The parts that weren't soaked in curry were pleasantly crispy and flavorful, making it even more disappointing that the majority of the dish was unappealing. Additionally, the chicken contained too many ligaments and tendons.
The food is always served hot and fresh, and you won't have to wait long for your meal. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant maintains a clean environment. They also provide online ordering for both pickup and delivery. Prices are reasonable and more affordable than other Hawaiian restaurants nearby, while the quality is just as good, if not better. Highly recommended!
If you're in search of authentic Hawaiian cuisine, this is the place to go. I’m excited that they’re now available on DoorDash. The food is freshly prepared to order, the prices are fantastic, and the portion sizes are genuinely substantial!

The food provides great value for money, featuring generous portions and delightful flavors. I highly recommend trying the chicken katsu with the sauce, which I believe is called gai cailua. You won't be disappointed!
I absolutely loved the BBQ Chicken Saimin, which was still steaming when it arrived. The Spam Musubi and Macaroni Salad were also fantastic! So delicious!
This place has a lot more flavor than other Hawaiian BBQ spots I've tried, and the portions are quite generous as well. I definitely recommend it!
