The burritos used to be a great value because they are so large, but the prices have increased. I understand due to all other prices increasing and covid didn't help, but I feel like the quality just isn't quite the same. I mean, it tasted fine, but I really miss the cotija cheese. That tiny bit of shredded mozz, or whatever, doesn't have much taste. They used to also have rocket sauce by the food truck if you wanted a little more, but they don't do that anymore. I think I may have been charged extra for the tiny bit of rocket sauce I asked for as extra. It says $10.99 on the truck, and I was charged over $12 with the tax. Usually when I ask for it on the side, I get the full-strength versio...
Man, has this place gone downhill. The one star is for the customer service. The food, certainly not as good as it was, is ok- not great- not terrible. Probably prefer Chipotle at this point- at least it doesn't take an hour. My partner and I placed an order online, at the wrong location- after realizing within seconds, we tired to remedy the situation and /or cancel and switch the order to Hertel. However, there is no process for this! You can't handle it online and they don't answer the phones. No other avenues to reach them. We still have not heard back after leaving multiple emails and many phone calls over a period of a week. Aside from this issue and the decreased food quality, orders...
Yesterday, my boyfriend and I went to Lloyd Taco Factory. He absolutely loves this place and well I've never been there so he took me First impressions of the place was that it was a place for friends, couple, or whoever to go have a drink, eat, and have a fun time. There was also a bar and outside tables. Cleanliness was spot on as well but yea a social atmosphere, good music too.We ordered the cracked potatoes and the dirty south burritos The potatoes were crispy, nicely seasoned, topped with some green onion or chives with another green type vegetable leaf type thing and some spicy sauce. I really enjoy Lloyds. They serve great drinks and the service is quick, they really have their system perfected! The menu is always well thought out with excellent choices. The bartenders are skilled at making strong cocktails and they are friendly without being too talkative. I personally prefer the Williamsville location because it is closer to me than the North Buffalo location and it has parking available. We stopped on Hertel Street to see the murals and so checked out Lloyd Taco Factory for lunch. Awesome menu! We went New School and enjoyed Dirty South (fried chicken) and Crispy Fish tacos, splitting a Cortez Salad. Great flavors!! So unique!! Loved the ambience of the restaurant/bar. Note that you place your food order at the counter; pick up when your number is called. Similarly place your bar order at the bar. We will definitely return next time we are in Buffalo!
I know it isn 't authentic but man I love this place. It 's so yummy just don 't expect authentic. Not authentic doesn 't mean not d e l i c i o u s !!!!! especially their pulled pork nachos, I dream of those. They give you abundant toppings but not grossly drowned in mayo like lots of other buffalo places. Their tacos are classic and unique and I love them!! even the weird waffle one and the big lloyd that literally tastes like a cheeseburger !!!
I stumbled into the restaurant and requested a black bean burrito. I was informed that they did not have my order, but I confidently showed them my email receipt. They then explained that the order was actually for the Williamsville location. Despite the misunderstanding, the staff were very friendly and quickly made my burrito in less than a minute.
Funky spot to stop for some really good tacos or burritos. Good flavor and friendly help. There’s a full bar inside and the food counter where you order.
