What could be the best complement for a shopping afternoon? A coffee in a place whose name is Lobby Café. However, we were wrong. WE COULD NOT REFUEL as it is said in its slogan. It was half past three in the afternoon and we spotted several free tables in the outdoor place of Lobby Café. We chose one bathed by the desired winter sun. At any other time, the delay of the waiter in coming could have annoyed us but it was sunny and we thought that the quality of the coffee was worth the pause. Eventually, the waitress came and told us she was sorry because at that time of the day no coffee could be served since all the tables were reserved for lunch. This is our second time, mistake, in this nice restaurant. The food is well presented but after two seconds you try to eat, hamburguers are like paper, and the tipical tapas that mike a single in a suprise visit, snacks and sauce. The staff unabble to smile, or to ofer an extra chair to seat everybody. In my impression this staff are unhappy with the direction, unaceptable in a turistic area. The restaurant is well decorated and always clean, but nothing else. It can save your life, but its only a second choice. In a calm day i think they must make some more to rate 3, and give real food.
I like Lobby Cafe. We tend to eat here when arrive in La Roca Village. There is a large menu with normal food of good quality (not only pasta-pizza, but if one wants a salad or soup with fish or meat, he or she will find it here). I like the zucchini cream soup (6 eur) and salmon with arroz (16 eur). The service is quite fast, and what is important there is no additional fee for terrace service.
We really enjoyed the coffee and the croissants were unbelievably good, the best I have ever had in Spain and the World.
