We enjoyed lunch here on a hot summer day. The terrace was packed, so we were happy to have made reservations beforehand. It was very hot, but the umbrella's weren't big enough to ensure everybody could eat in the shade. I guess it's worth while...to invest in bigger and better umbrella's to shield their customers from the sun. The staff is very friendly and insisted on speaking English with us although our French was way better than their English. But it is a nice gesture to try and accommodate your clients. nice evening at the restaurant of the observatory of the salève. First of all, you know that you have to book it to go to dinner. otherwise natural service without a headset, we come especially for the setting in the middle of the day that is really top, and whose prices are not too high for this type of spot and so much better. food is very correct I could test a cocktail made by a server, quite original and nice!
We arrived at on Sunday, and we were told to come back minutes later as the restaurant was full. We came back at It took about minutes to be led to a table and given a menu. When they came back...to take the order, we were told that kitchen was closed. It was disappointing to say the least.
a place to get back and to have a good time. Nice view. quiet pleasant. can access it on foot from the cable car or by car. So people with reduced mobility could benefit. good simple but copyy kitchen! correct price and pleasant staff!
This is a special place. Amazing view on the Lac Leman, great service and simple but good food. Finally, the very relaxed atmosphere of the inside with sofas and fireplace makes this a great place in any season.
Despite a hypra-tardive reservation, we were welcomed in the good mood. the dishes were hearty and excellent. Served quickly despite the strong affluence on a nice Sunday. bravo for these quality products.
Swiss prices for cheap and not fresh food. Cannot recommend. Been there many times and it’s disappointing everytime.
