I've been on the hunt for a delicious lobster roll for five years, and today, on a whim, my partner searched for lobster rolls near Coronado, leading us to Lobster West. We live about an hour north, but there's a good chance we'll be driving down weekly because it was the best lobster roll I've ever had! The restaurant was impeccably clean, the staff was friendly, and they had fantastic music playing through the speakers. We'll definitely be back soon!
Wow, the crab roll and lobster bisque I had here were the best I've had in a long time! It was a bit on the pricey side, but definitely worth it. I ordered takeout for lunch, and the price was around $20–30 per person. The food was exceptional, earning a 5 out of 5, as was the service and atmosphere, both also rated 5. I highly recommend the Lobster Roll with Lobster Bisque, along with the Coleslaw and Bean dish!
Cute shop and good food! The lobster rolls are amazing and the kids grilled cheese is so good dipped in the lobster bisque . Only negative would be the lobster bisque is very basic....would be so much better with chunks of lobster and a little bit of spice or Old Bay seasoning! We parked out front on our way to dinner elsewhere around the corner but what kind of crazy person parks at a lobster roll spot and doesn't get one to go? And so, my son and I did.
