This is one of my favorite restaurants. The owners are friendly and lovely people. I enjoy coming here to have a delicious meal and appreciate the personal and friendly service. I visit this restaurant every week with my friends and have never been disappointed. The staff warmly greets you when you arrive, and the service is exceptional. My go-to dish is the Nyonya Chicken, but I have tried many others and love them all. I especially appreciate when they take the time to walk you to the door and bid you farewell. This restaurant is definitely one of my favorites.
Had dinner with my wife mid week. Never tried Local Gerai before and was pleasantly surprised. It's a very small and intimate restaurant along the main cafe strip of Caroline Springs. We shared a Pad Thai for entree then had a curry with roti each. The roti was so flakey and delicious, and would go back for that alone. The service was perfect, the ambiance inviting and the food came out hot and timely. Overall i could recommend the place for either family dinners or something more intimate for couples.
A small restaurant at Caroline Springs just up the road from Quest where I was staying. I had arrived late and was hungry and because I was in a serviced apartment there was no food and not much open, only a few places. I'm Malaysian so I thought I'd try the local cuisine! Has a satay chicken with rice take away. Was really tasty, filled the gap and they gave me lots too. Most places fill up the box with veges and only a little meat but this place was pretty generous. We had dinner last night and were very satisfied with the food and service. We had the banquet C which had 3 individual entrees then 3 mains with fried rice and a fried banana with ice cream to finish. The food was delicious and the staff very attentive even asking if we wanted breaks between courses which did. There was so much food we took the remainder home as it was too good to leave. We had a wonderful family dinner with 9 people last night. We ordered two different banquet options as well as some items from the menu. The food was all delicious and the service was excellent. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly and eager to please. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Just like our last visit, we had so much food that we had to take some leftovers home. We will definitely be returning to this hidden gem.
We have eaten here a number of times only discovered it last Nov..wow every time we go the food is tasty, fresh & enjoyable I have taken many visitors here & they all agree excellent. Some of our Fav's... Salt & pepper quail, roast duck best Eva & I've tried plenty, calamari & butter prawns very decadent & simply awesome this also comes in butter chicken I've tried both. Very well priced & the service is always friendly. Another plus it's BYO wine. Enjoy
The food at this restaurant is incredible, I could definitely eat here every day. The staff is friendly and always polite, and the premises are clean. The dishes are unbelievably delicious. If you're not a fan of spicy food, make sure to ask for no chili.

I was parked in CS for 2 nights, mon - tue. Took a chance here for a dine in for one, just lovely. Came back the next night Loved it. Fresh, tasty, good value, faultless service.
