I booked on the line, which was simple, but could be easier. Maybe the use of my phone was not a good idea. the day and the time were available. we were met by a beautiful maitre de who sat on a beautiful table. he was polite, friendly and helped to choose our drinks and meals. eating was extraordinary. I had the whispers and the juice was very garlic. delicious. partner had fish and chips. they offered garden beans because he doesn't like muddy heels. we have not been rushing. the restaurant was busy, but it felt not tormented. a beautiful meal in a beautiful environment
I haven't been to Loch Fyne in years, but I went on a Wednesday night and was surprised by how quiet it was. The menu had too many dishes with white sauces and white fish, I would have preferred more mackerel and oily fish with spicy sauces. I ended up ordering the cod and chips, which was okay but the chips were thickly sliced. I gave this restaurant a partial rating because I had a discount through the AA and we were seated immediately but the service was a bit rushed.
We came to this restaurant for dinner and were promptly greeted at the door. We were assisted by the manager, Gia, who was very knowledgeable and professional. Following her recommendation, we tried the fishcake mussels, which were delicious and a credit to the chefs. Overall, we had a very pleasant evening.
The staff made us feel welcome and looked after us exceptionally well throughout our entire stay, even when it got really busy. The food was of outstanding quality from starter to pudding. The atmosphere in the restaurant is buzzing but not loud or stressful. Overall an excellent time was had.

was no longer in this restaurant for 2/3 years better than I remember. very pleasant welcome, spent time explaining menu, nothing too much effort, although they are very busy for a member of the staff plus trainee. many thanks for a delicious lunch.
