I'm giving this place a two-star rating because last time I ate here, both myself and my partner got sick from their food. Also, the Penne Shrimp Fradiavolo was such a TERRIBLE dish, that I really wish I wouldn't have wasted money on it. There was virtually no shrimp, and was an utter disappointment, and that's putting it nicely. Except for the Ziti and Spaghetti and Meatballs, their pasta dishes are mediocre at best. The eggplant parmigiana is also a joke, because for what very little eggplant they do give, it is not even fresh; it's old and rotted. This is the best pizza place of all time, just as it always has been. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and I remember when the staff were just kids themselves; now they’ve grown up and taken over the place, which makes me so proud. I’ll keep coming here forever. Now that I live in Boston, I always stop by whenever I’m in NYC to visit my mom. I can’t miss my beef patty with cheese! You can’t go wrong with this spot! The people here are incredibly kind, and it was wonderful to see Mom yesterday and Dad today. Thank you so much for providing me with the best pizza for the past 40 years—I think you've been around even longer! It feels like forever.
The upside-down Sicilian pizza was truly amazing—I ended up ordering a whole pie that kept my family satisfied for days. The staff is quick and efficient, even during the busy after-school rush, and they're always cheerful. This is the best pizza I've had in Brooklyn in 25 years! I'm eager to try their pasta dishes and sandwiches next. I wholeheartedly recommend this place! My only wish is that they were open late into the night.
What a wonderful restaurant! The pizza here is outstanding. While the regular slices are delicious, we absolutely adored the specialty pizzas even more. The shrimp Alfredo slice is simply delightful, and the chicken vodka deep dish is truly exceptional. You know the pizza so good you just can?t help yourself even when your on a diet. I get the pesto every Friday. There was a time when they didn?t offer this, least to say I was going crazy. This is the only place that can make the best pesto and to make it even better they toss in calamari and shrimp. Absolute immaculate.
Super good thin crust pizza, also had an upside down Sicilian which was equally good. The staff were friendly and quick. Surely will visit soon for more. Also had the pesto and a shrimp something.. the pesto is a MUST try.
Not only is this the best tasting pizza in the neighborhood, it's also the most affordable !!! , and the guys here are always nice no matter how busy they are. True gem.

This place makes some good pizza and combination. Guys in there are really friendly. I recommend Grandma pizza.
