We went there for dinner on a weekday, we were late for our 9:30pm booking and when we arrived there was no one in the restaurant... I started to be a bit scared, and even doubted the popularity of this place but thought that high season has ended that's why we were the only guests. We were seated by a lovely waitress on the terrace as the weather was mild. Although all the dishes were really good, seafood a la plancha, grilled fish, burgers (yes! , including desert, and sangria, the highlight for this restaurant for me came from 2 dishes: the seafood salad and the chipiron du chef (squid with mild chili cream sauce which were out of this world ! Even our mum (a very fussy 60 y.o. Vietnamese...
positive opinions on the kitchen are justified. Extra entrance and extra flat! We went to this restaurant twice while staying in Hendaye excellent food although a limited choice, couldn't believe the size of the Sole and cooked nicely as well.
We ate very well, the really succulent and cooked meat as requested, the perfect chipiron desserts are really hearty and excellent. No waiting. I highly recommend.
