I had a bread roll to get rid of the taste but it had a fly baked into the base. The cashier rushed us through paying and my wife piped up he was rude and asked for the manager. When we went back to complain about the food it turned out he was the manager and he quickly snatched it out of her hand and threw it in the bin! This is part of the Leclerc complex in Challans providing a wide selection of hot and cold dishes including starters, mains and desserts. It is self service with the advantage that your hot main dish is cooked to order in the case of steaks or burgers and if you want a starter you are given a ticket for your hot main which you collect when you are ready. A wide selection of food, well prepared, tasty and giving good value. We found it a useful stop off on our travels through France. We found the staff very helpful. This is a self service restaurant. It is extremely busy and a popular venue for families, so there is a sense of being slightly chaotic, but that aside we enjoyed our visit and would use it again.

Hidden gem in an Oak Bay neighbourhood! Cute little cafe/bakery with some seating inside as well as a pretty garden patio outside.
