Logan's is currently the only fine dining option available, and we were looking forward to a nice evening out with two couples. We made reservations two weeks ahead and specifically requested a quiet area. Unfortunately, we were seated next to a table of eight that included four small children. Given how crowded the restaurant was, there weren't any alternative seating options, which made the experience less enjoyable due to the increased noise from the large party. It seems that reservations are not treated as a priority here, which is disappointing.
As for the food, it was good, though a bit on the pricey side compared to our favorite fine dining spots in Tyler and Dallas. Our appetizers...
Logan's Place is situated in a former bank branch at 536 E Broad St. The interior features modern styling that cleverly incorporates the bank's previous teller area. The kitchen is somewhat hidden, so any kitchen noise went unnoticed by me. A large vault at the south end of the dining area serves as storage, reminding diners of the building's history. I found it quite entertaining to watch the employees struggle with the massive vault door. I particularly enjoyed my drink, which is also available in a smoked version—I didn't try that option, but I imagine it’s quite a spectacle. I recently had the delightful opportunity to savor a meal at a nearby dining establishment, and it was an experience that left a lasting impression. The inviting reception, the snug ambiance, and the innovative menu were all noteworthy aspects of the evening. We took a trip to Mineola and decided to go to Logan's Place to eat. We have eaten there before when it was at their former location. Since they had moved into their new location (an old bank building), I wanted to see how they had renovated it. The food was great. We all had hamburgers (Cheese Lover Burger, Cowboy Burger, and Bacon Avocado Burger) sweet potato fries.

First thing in noticed at the front door, NO FIREARMS ALLOWED, this is a day after the Maine shooting. I'm know the sign at the door didn't stop the shooter, maybe a concealed carrier could have stopped the shooting. Second it took 25 min for a salad, cheeseburger fries. I was quite disappointed with my experience. I ordered the lobster bacon grilled cheese, but it ended up tasting like nothing more than a greasy bread sandwich. While our server tried her best to apologize and rectify the situation, she relayed our concerns to the owner, who never addressed us directly. I won't be coming back.
Logan’s has some the best burgers and sandwiches I’ve ever tasted! They have a great selection of craft beer and drinks available and the staff is always very friendly!
We had the best waitress, and shame on me for not remembering her name! The food was excellent! I definitely recommend this restaurant!!
