As always, delighted by the exceptional setting, even out of season, of Lake Vassivière. The view from the balcony is always magnificent, even in the rain : Small personal drawback, for safety reasons, I did not leave my small camping stove in the wall cupboard... which I forgot to take back leaving. Very disappointed, the 3 stars are not deserved, the establishment is really not up to par. Fortunately the restaurant is just super good and the staff welcoming. For the rest, crumbling ceiling, not-so-great carpet, 60s tapestry, cat hairs everywhere, cobwebs ... Breakfast for €12 with a piece of ham and butter... Too bad because 'with a little refreshment and restoration it would be really great Rooms: 2
The restaurant has a super pleasant setting and the site by the lake must be magnificent in the summer months. The staff is very friendly and the waiter speaks American well. The dishes were very good but a little expensive (you pay for the setting). The toilets leave a little to be desired and require an upgrade. Service: 5 Location: 5
Hotel is on the edge of Lac de Vassiviere, scenery stunning. Excellent restaurant, staff friendly and helpful.
