visited bar one early evening with my wife ,was surprised to find nearly all the beer in bottles,,this being our second visit and probably our last.we sat outside and watched as a local guy arrived to get better service with olives supplied with his drink.unlike ourselves..got the impression we were tourists so no need to make an effort.though we in fact live in altea.Its the small detail that makes for a good service.we get better service and free tapas at the local workers cafe.with competition so great you would expect good service as a matter of fact.Feel this bar is trying to be hip and trendy ,but failing in the basics,,,,would expect more draught beer for one and better consistent ser...
This cafe has only been open for a couple of months but is gaining a lot of attention. It is a cerveceria with a difference, none of your usual tasteless,fizzy alcopops here. Your choice is high end local artisan beers with amazing flavours and strengths, the best bottled beers from around Europe and a selection of local wines and vermouths. Add to this an interesting display of tapas and deserts and you have everybody 's best place for lunch, early supper or late night finish. Just 'popping out ' for a quick beer has a new meaning.
I recommend this pleasant place in Altea where you feel at home for the kindness and good to make of so owners and for the quality of what they offer a good place to spend a good time with friends with good Belgian beers and quality skewers!!!!
