Four of us were cycling across the island on a hot day and stopped in the capital for lunch. The restaurant outside area was three quarters full. We sat at a table and were largely ignored until the waitress walked up and said »yes? » in a most unfriendly way. We eventually got a drink but failed to order anything to eat so paid and left. The staff would not have even passed an interview to work for Basil Fawlty. They were rude, discourteous and totally disinterested. We later met another couple who had eaten there and they confirmed our view of the establishment. They were French, so it wasn’t just a discrimination issue. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and it is many years...
Parked in the square to have a look at the little scenic town. Fancied a drink, given a nice welcome and decided to lunch. For a nice change everything was clean and tidy and the lunch although basic was well prepared and extremely enjoyable. Good local wine and everything at very sensible acceptable prices. A certain place to lunch.
The rooms have been reconstructed, which gives a luminous result. You can drink a delicious coffee and play the loto or tiercé in a friendly atmosphere. The staff is welcoming. The terrace overlooks the Place Gambetta which is very beautiful

Great value for money! Large plates of very tasty food. We had grilled Sardines with frites and salad and a seafood salad with Gambas and smoked salmon both excellent. Carafe of Rose and desserts. Bill 45 euros.
At 2.15 p.m. Very good reception. The tartar and the excellent buttock. Original gourmet coffee but very well. Go without hesitation.
