Passing to Lille for a business lunch, very average restaurant certainly with a map with many choices but the service remains long enough when we are in a hurry, the hotel master who makes us understand that we do not choose fast enough... The enter foie gras was pretty good but the main dishes were disappointing, the duck magret was fade and the purée that accompanied it had no taste and dry.. The prices are high enough for the quality of what is in the plate but the server that took care of us later was very friendly, reactive and professional!
Good restaurant for the price, I had the ravioli which was excellent, we were a table of eight everyone enjoyed the main course, small problem the desserts could be improved but we met the owner Julien who told us that a new person on the team will arrive to improve the desserts, so we will come back to find out with our free little digestive?! , bearded waiter with hair tied up on the floor, super friendly and smiling and waitress with gloss and arm tattoo very smiling, thank you for the service!
This pub-restaurant is held by a passionate, welcoming and dynamic couple. There are regular concerts with very good groups (which is not always the case in this type of establishment... . And, to crown the whole, the dishes are simple but well made, I do not resist Fish and Chips with the small sauce or rum baba. A place where we like to come back from time to time despite the distance and I recommend.
The frame is nice but the plate doesn't make you dream. Too bad that the restorer made us dream by announcing us home fries (rare in the corner) to serve us in the end of the frozen classic fries. The boss is authoritarian and unsuccessful. Do not use their website to book, it is useless. The quality of the meal was very ordinary for the price. The boss is on the contrary super friendly, a shame but as the boss serves and holds the cash, we will not return.
Very cold boss unlike the boss who is very nice. Overall disappointing food, especially at this price… On the other hand, very pleasant and warm music atmosphere on Saturday evenings, which I find is one of the only strong points of this restaurant…
Antipathic owners and not trade. We feel like we're disturbing every demand for bread, water or something. Avoid the tuna that made two people sick at our table during our evening. Any dishes without flavor. Bad foie gras to avoid.
