What a cool place! It’s very nice inside taking cue from a traditional British pub (though a much newer version . Service was great, we were there in a down time, had the place practically to ourselves. The bartender took great care of us. He recommended the Chicken Tikka Masala and it was amazing. Great experience, would like to watch some soccer there some time… they have a handful of large TVs. Only negative I would say is they could use a few British beers on tap, opted to have a Guinness since they didn’t have anything else to offer (and it was very good despite not being in a Guinness glass .
This spot rocks! Hubs and I stopped in for a beer after a reunion with old friends at the grave site of our beloved Nicholas for his birthday. We weren't gonna eat but then we saw and smelled the food coming out of the kitchen. So glad we decided to eat. The tikka masala was real good. The lamb samosas were excellent. They had Harp Lager on tap which is always a good thing. The vibes were up. Music was good. People were happy. Staff was great. Thank you! Much love
This was the closest I have ever come to returning food to the kitchen. (I would never. Not only were they out of at least three things we tried to order (amongst them corned beef , but they used shredded Mexican blend cheese on the poutine! The staff was dismissive and it was more than half empty. [At least the WWE on the TVs was engaging. -note from my husband. Lol.
As a fellow pub landlord, actually from London, we were surprised to spot this on our way past. Unfortunately, it was gimmicky, tacky, and unfriendly.. I asked the barman for a single bacardi and coke and got 98% bacardi with a drop of coke.. practically undrinkable.. sure, they don't have European measurements, but that just adds to the lack of authenticity.
The owner Raj and his beautiful wife and brother are absolute gems They make the best food just like it is in a English Pub in London. It's a English -Indian fusion of tantalizing tastes ..mmm...yum yum. The chef is outstanding as all the employees are...love them all azi
Overall it's a nice place to grab a drink and a snack. While there were quite a bit of Indian dishes, I had the shepherds pie. The meat was a little chewy and the gravy had an off flavor. The staff was friendly and the place was clean.
Great food, fresh and hot. My fish in the fish tacos was cooked to perfection, batter wasn't too thick. Onion rings were super delicious. Good specials on drinks too. Lots of big tvs to watch sporting events on as well.
