11/11/23 under new ownership and no better. We ordered a teriyaki chicken bento box, Hawaiian chicken bento box and beef w/ broccoli. The teriyaki chicken was dry and over cooked, the salad was wilted, the beef w. broccoli was oily and tasteless. I returned the food back to the restaurant and encountered the worst customer service imaginable. I was told I wouldn 't get my money back for days and a third party was going to refund the money even though I paid over the phone to the restaurant. The cashier then tried to tell me they could give me cash and then reneged on the ofter after another individual got involved. Used to have food from here when I was a kid and it was always good, but in 2020 I got some shrimp lo mein, ate all of it, and woke up the next day with food poisoning. Literally thought I was gonna die as I was blasting out both ends and subsequently passing out, taking turns on the toilet to puke and then have violent diarrhea. Anyway I called the place up and they refunded me but gaslit me by saying “Nobody else got food poisoning from the shrimp lo mein” which I didn’t appreciate. Like cool, nobody else did but I did. Not a fun experience overall but did make me realize passing out is probably similar to dying so I no longer fear death. 2/5, one extra star added for the useful epiphany.
Serrrriously this restaurant is me and my family’s FAVEEEE. I love bringing friends here anytime we go to Long Island! The sesame chicken and general tso chicken are SO good. This is not your average Chinese American food, trust me! My personal favorite is the Hunan chicken. It has a great kick and wonderful flavors. I love that this place offers so many different dishes. I get something different every time and so far everything has been great! ALSOOOO they have gooood sushi. Great family-owned restaurant— wonderful food, quick and friendly service, anddd good cleanliness. A 10/10 from me. Mmmmm.
3.5 Stars: I decided to stop by on a whim after not having been here in years. The kitchen was busy and a bit chaotic, but I was greeted kindly. My order was taken right away, and my food arrived quickly, hot, and accurate. The food is good, though not outstanding, but finding excellent Chinese cuisine in Bay Shore is quite a challenge. I enjoyed the egg roll, and the Mei Fun was decent. However, the fried rice needed a lot of improvement, so I added duck sauce and hot sauce, which enhanced the flavor. The meal was prepared exactly as I requested, without peppers or onions.

I ordered vegetable egg rolls and specifically requested that they not send spring rolls, but they sent spring rolls anyway. When I called, the manager answered and said there was nothing they could do and refused to issue a refund. I also ordered vegetable fried rice, but it only had onions, no other vegetables, and it lacked flavor. I will not be going back there.
This place is fantastic! I've been coming here for years, and they consistently serve amazing Chinese food and fresh sushi. I first tried it 20 years ago, and it's still excellent! They also have incredibly delicious pork buns, which can be hard to find elsewhere. Their spare ribs are also outstanding, whether boneless or not.
When I tell you that this Singapore was delicious. I mean every bit of those words. The best Singapore in Long Island. Please come. My son ordered boneless spare ribs and he said it was GOOD. Ordered salt&pepper shrimp used to be fresh shrimp floured and fried now breaded popcorn shrimp from a bag I can get that in freezer section of store won't be ordering this anymore Parking: 20 spots

Long river is the best! I was hesitant to try their sushi but I’m sooo glad I did!!! So fresh and sooo good!
