I'm not sure why Looney's Pub has received so many negative reviews because it has consistently delivered great experiences over the years. I first discovered this place during my college days, and now whenever I'm back in College Park, stopping by Looney's Pub is a must. The menu offers standout items like the crab pretzel, Chicken Chesapeake sandwich, and crab melt—all of which are excellent. Love this place for the drink specials, motts sticks and quesadillas. Around a college so can be a pretty young crowd. There was a short wait for us but extended to like thirty to 45 mins so prep for a possible wait. Pay for the parking because they willtow ya ishhh! Went on a Thursday this time and honestly I felt super old because 3/4 of people in there had on backpacks andwhewwwwee flashback to college central. But great to watch games- nice sized bar! First time today around lunch time. Me and my beast friend wanted to try something new. Ally our waiter was absolutely AMAZING! If I get to return I?m asking for her. We had the buffalo chicken dip (DELICIOUS), looney fries, onion rings , old bay wings,and chicken tenders. Everything was great! Chicken tenders were basic but everything else I would order again. That was about$70 bucks. But worth it! Ally checked in on us but without being annoying and I appreciate that anywhere I go! You have to payto park so be prepared. I hope I can come back but it was a damn near perfect dine in experience. Give ally a raise for beingawesome please thank you management .
the service was pretty quick! we went there for happy hour and we got the orange crush buckets, the crab dip and the nachos all of them had very huge portions! the three of us barely finished the two apps !

Nice experience. Not to crowded but getting a little pricey. If you are a sports fan it's your place. If you are a Terps fan... nothing better. Great staff and food is excellent. Consistent.

We stopped at this restaurant before our cruise in October 2021 and had a fantastic experience. We are already looking forward to stopping by again next week.
Was there for a business trip. The food was amazing and so were the drinks. I recommend the Ruck Chicken and their French fries
