This is the First Time i have ever Witten a review of a restaurant, but our experience at López City was One of the worst ones we ever had whilst travelling france. First of all, the Food presented right in Front of the place (paella,...mussels) looks fine, but only at First glance. Trust me: just Take Minutes to Look at how the meals are beeing prepared and you will Loose your appetite. Pouring a pint of Oil over the already cold Paella seems to be the Chef's personal specialty. Salad is Unlovingly Pressed onto the plates, tomatoes thrown on afterwards. We visited Lopez city as we were looking for an alternative restaurant, with its funky styling and Latin American menu (and the fact that it always has a massive queue out the front) we gave it a try. I had the langoustines and my Father...and Sister had the Argentinian Steak. both were FANTASTIC and reasonably priced for a tourist trap (under ea) the portions were a good size and the food tasted fresh. My wife's dinner however (tex mex) did not arrive until we had chased it twice and we had all finished eating. That said, the tex mex was removed from the final bill as way of apology. I would certainly eat here again, the cocktails were great value at for a big (pint sized) glass!
We chose this lively and inviting place on a busy Tuesday night. Service was friendly and smiling but food was disappointing the Chef switched off the gas under the large paella pan and it came to me cold then luke warm from micro wave...after I sent it back to get warmed up. The entrecôte and cod were ok but paella a big disappointment. Choose a better place to eat when I'm Mimizan!
The dishes are well cooked, the boss and the employees are very pleasant, the dishes of the day from noon to 9 € a delight, the poelée basquaise a party as well as the paella of langoustine, the red and white sangria at the top. Burritos, burger town, and tapas very good! Vegetables from the sausage stool a slaughter. Dogs are allowed and are welcomed with water on each arrival
