As one of the most common Pub Chain in the area, Marstons are well known by their shabby handling of establishments that were well run. Aberystwyth lost all traditional Bank's brand pubs leaving Brains the dominant Brewery owned Pub type in the town. Marstons have...now taken over a lot of Brains establishments including here. The previous landlord made a fantastic effort turning this place around with beer garden and a better choice of ale. Roll in Marstons!!! Two weeks later closed, with new landlord making a significant impact locally, not for the better.
we called on Sunday afternoon, adults and children. friendly staff took our drink order while we decided to eat. we chose the burgers, including the bee that is not for the weak heart - it is an absolute unit of a...burger they kindly sorted us with a simple menu of chickenburger, chips and beeping for our habitable fussy year old. burgers were all beautiful, with very generous portion sizes. would definitely recommend this as a higher but still relaxed option in aberystwyth!
I had steak and chips and it was amazing . Place was spotless and staff very attentive . What more can you ask for really ! The burgers looked very nice also . If there was one constructive comment it was there was no desserts...but it has new owners and I was told these will be rolled out soon. Look forward to visibly again.
visited the herrn beechings at a weekend away. the staff was friendly helpful. we had a wonderful meal, the steak was one of the best I had in a long time. beautiful atmosphere to watch the rugby. will definitely be visited again.

Real felt safe and great hospitality from Josh and the team. Only had a coffee watching the football can't wait for a pint of Pedigree on my next visit.
The team where great and the food was amazing. Best burger I have had in years. The price was also really good. We will be back when we visit Wales

Very nice bar staff and lovely food. Very clean inside and the service if Very good. Dog friendly and good value for money
great food, came fast and was delicious. the waiter was very polite and helpful. very good atmosphere.
