Popped in for lunch and ordered the Lasagne as I had eaten this in a few Wetherspoon pubs and always loved it. However, the Lord of the Isles was nowhere near the usual standard that I was used to. To start with it's usually served in individual dishes and served piping hot. This time it was just a rectangle of lasagne (obviously cooked in a tray and cut up for freezing) which was served luke warm. I ordered the side salad with it, which was the best part of the meal. Having read previously reviews they need to get the kitchen to serve their food hot, not cold. I shall not be ordering Lasagne in this pub again. Very disappointing visit I ordered eggs benedict my husband ordered a breakfast,his breakfast was cold,the bacon was unedible due to it being rock hard,my eggs were stone cold,I took them to the server to which she said what do you want me to do with them I was quite shocked a d asked could they be replaced with hot eggs? She told me they did not have any more poached eggs,so I just asked for them to be heated up in the microwave.we sat down by the coffee machine and I was discussed to see it was swarming with flys,I had to swat away flies whilst trying to eat my breakfast,needless to say I ended up just leaving my breakfast in the end,I hope someone reads this and des with the fly problem.
Popped in for lunch with my daughter, got a table decided what to order. Went to bar ordered food and sat back down. After about 10 mins a member of staff approached us and asked if my daughter had a jumper to put on as she was wearing a football top. Told staff member was only in for food and had not been advised about football tops being worn in premises. I was abruptly told told we can have our food but leave immediately after. Checked entrance and no signs advised of no football tops allowed . To top it off food was average at best . My advice avoid!!
Absolutely awful. First of all, it took 3 different members of staff to clear the table of the previous customers dishes. The table still hadn’t been cleaned before of food arrived, so we gave up asking. Our scrambled egg was both overcooked and stone cold, and sausages were like lumps of coal. It was a Sunday morning, breakfast with my wife and son. It wasn’t very busy, so there can be no excuses made. Dirty cutlery. Used to love this place, but it has gone downhill. I Love wetherspoons! Fantastic value for money! Lovely tasty hot breakfast, lovely tea, lovely airy building, cozy atmosphere. Lovely staff, swift service! I went here with my friend,after she picked me up at Glasgow airport. I was just off the Stornoway flight, so I was pretty hungry! I well recommend! Thank you!
We were really hungry. The place was very quiet. It took a very long time for the food to be served. I had a steak, chips, peas and tomato with peppercorn sauce. It was luke warm and the sauce was stone cold. My wife's food was equally cold. Waitress not interested. Will not be back.
Had a lovely night. Everyone so friendly and helpful. I had the scampi which was cooked well and nice an crispy good value 2!! Good atmosphere and staff always busy and attentive. Definitely would recommend it and be back soon.
Typical Wetherspoons quiet due to its location but walking distance to Braehead shopping centre and other amenities. Breakfast deals were good and staff generally helpful. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Came and had lunch at this Wetherspoons and fairly enjoyed great quick service and pleasant staff liked the fact that you could order on app and drinks came to table
