What we ordered: I opted for the birria tacos, which came with rice and beans (arroz con gandules). The birria tacos were incredibly delicious—flavorful, tender, juicy, and very moist. They came with a side sauce that I used to dip my tacos, and they were packed with meat. However, I wasn't a fan of the rice and beans as they tasted a bit bland. My family also ordered a small to-go portion of pernil (roasted pork), which my family member said was very flavorful and moist. Her daughter really enjoyed it. Atmosphere: I visited on a Sunday afternoon when the place wasn't crowded, and we were seated right away. The restaurant isn't very large but has several booths and a spacious counter area....
I ordered four tacos and guacamole with jalapeno peppers on the side, and one waitress informed me that the total should have been $28. However, my order was messed up—I received three taco platters, jalapeno poppers, and guacamole, and they charged me $51. One of the waitresses mentioned she would credit my card, but she never did. When I spoke to the owner, he insisted that he could only refund me $6.99 because I ordered platters, which is not the correct amount. Sorry to hear you weren’t interested in making money during your posted business hours. Last night, I ordered from Broadway, and they’re always a pleasure to deal with. I regularly enjoy their well-priced lunch specials during work hours. It’s clear they prioritize customer satisfaction much more than you do. My negative review stands because it’s valid. My favorite thing about here, is I feel like family when I sit down and eat, the food is utterly scrumptiously delicious! writing this as i wish they were opened and I'm dreaming of their food atm, I highly recommend the cheesy pineapple chicken tacos, birria quesadillas, tacos or burritos, and of course the star of the food is their empanads! My favorite is the chicken cheesesteak or a cheesesteak empanada! ask for secret mayoish ketchup sauce shhh.. also get the tres leches for dessert, it's phenomenal and the best in the area! This charming little restaurant offers the best blend of Mexican, Puerto Rican, and American cuisine! The prices are very reasonable, and the food is absolutely fantastic. Lauren and her team are incredibly friendly and helpful. Treat yourself and visit! Be sure to sample a bit of everything, just like we did. Plus, they have a great kids' menu, making it very family-friendly!
Terrible service, overcharging and when told about it didn't refund the difference. When I tried speaking to the owner, he hung up on me, then when I tried calling back due to having caller ID they didn't answer the phone. I called from a different number they answered on the first ring and the owner said he hung up because he was busy. This place is unorganized and rude.
We ordered several family boxes of tacos and empanadas, which came complete with all the fixings, plus chips and soda. We also got the hoagie tray, which was fully loaded and delicious! Overall, it was a wonderful experience with amazing food, top-notch service, and great prices. I highly recommend Lorenzo's and will definitely be ordering from them again! Well worth the drive if you’re in the area!Super friendly staff and excellent food.I highly recommend getting their chorizo on anything you order. My absolute favorite item they have here is their chorizo BREAKFAST burrito. It’s insane and hands down one of the best burritos I’ve ever had.Their churros are on point, hot fresh!We’ll be back!!!
