As its name suggests, L 'Orfèvre is a small jewel of Lavallois restaurant in the heart of Old Laval, in the rue des Orfèvres... We started with a flight to the brie brie chutney peach , followed by a crane filet basil sauce melted with vegetables and finished with a nectarine poached with black tea. This menu entirely in accordance with the summer season, in addition to being entirely made home by the chef (even the bread it seems to me), has filled us with ravishing. The flavours are skillfully accommodated, the cuisine is refined and if the brie brie brie brie brie chutney fishing was already a light treat, the crane crane sauce basil and vegetable fondue has put a touch of extra gastronom...
I recommend 100% this restaurant. I went to eat there several times and I was never disappointed. always well received with a beautiful atmosphere: music from a quiet background. Since the room is not very large, there is no brouhaha (we are not one on the other as much.) little choice at the level of the menu due to the change of card every week with fresh products. the value/price ratio is really interesting. dishes are of good quality for a more than reasonable price. don't hesitate anymore, have a good time in their establishment.
Very good reception see even select. The dishes are succulent, pleasant at first sight, and then it becomes a tasting. Two apartments however, you should not be pressed and the cost of the glass of very expensive wine for the quantity served. However, I recommend. Take a bottle instead of a glass of wine...
Very well welcomed... very nice presentation... fresh products... very good overall. A service as we want, not too slow or too fast. A detail: I find that 2 choices at the input/plat/dessert level in the menu and a little limit. Three would be a top. I have a friend who made me feel the same. Or Bravo.
An excellent restaurant very well located in the historic Laval, close to the castle. The reception is friendly and professional. The menu is of a very good value for money. The dishes are succulent and well presented. A good address to be recommended.
