My experience at Los Portales was excellent. I was seated right away with a large group, even though the restaurant was full. We were immediately served chips and salsa, and offered a drink. We were also informed about the house specialties and happy hour deals, which was a nice touch. I tried the tacos, burritos, and chicken quesadilla, and everything was delicious. I requested a spicier sauce and was given a generous portion of flavorful hot sauce. The service was prompt and attentive, with the waiter checking on us regularly. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience with great food, service, and drinks. I highly recommend Los Portales.
we have seen this restaurant a hundred times while they drive to and from the airport bwi. we finally decided to come by and try it out. we ordered some fajitas and garnels and scallops meal with rice, guacamole and acid cream with some hot flour tortillas. the food was good and the rice was very tasteful. I would eat here again, probably not as the typical American Mexican restaurant is. nothing stands out. they had great service.
I have tried to make a reservation for 8 people they have rejected by saying that they need 10 people. I said I have two more friends who come to make it 10. the manager daniel said when they show up with less than 8, we will not take their reservations anymore. rude. we were somewhere else. there are many restaurants that can get our business.
There was nothing fresh about the fresh guacamole! The avocado was smushy and already turned brown. No freshly cut avocado turns brown that fast. It was delivered too fast to have been fresh. I definitely recommend this place! The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is cool. I especially enjoy the chips and salsa, fajitas, burritos, and enchiladas. And don't even get me started on the amazing dessert, Xcango. It's the best dessert I've ever had!
The food was was good and the waiter was pleasant and efficient. The atmosphere was also pleasant. I had a #5 lunch special that consisted of a beef burrito, taco, and rice. There was plenty of food and the price was reasonable. I would deifinitely recommend.
I wanted to eat with some friends after an event. as latino, I absolutely loved this place. it is small, but the atmosphere was great; not to mention how fast it came to eat. there was a very large menu to choose, and they will not be dissatisfied.
