It would be hard to beat. €8.50 gets you a starter, a main course. bread, a pudding AND A DRINK!! The fresh fish and the selection of it was fabulous... Boquerones were probably the best ever! This friendly back street authentic bar served us some of the best raciones we’ve had in a very long time and we live in Spain! We had plates to share of calamari frito, sardines, boquerones, berenjenas (aubergine slices, fried and drizzled with honey) and ajo blanco (almond and garlic soup). Now, this is not a flash bar and the terrace overlooks a car park and not the Mediterranean but the friendly owner and great food made for a lovely experience oh and it’s very inexpensive too. It’s a must do in Nerja!
We were staying opposite this place, after a days sun we were reading a guide book we purchased and noticed that this bar/restaurant had a good write up. We are always keen to support local eateries so we decided to give los trillzos a try and we went disappointed, it appears this is more of a locals bar but please do not be put off !! We ordered meatballs, croquettes and fried mixed fish, the latter was the highlight. Waiter was v friendly and a nice change from typically tourist joints !!
I came here two days to have lunch with my boyfriend and we really enjoy our menus. We had paella as a first course and boquerones (fried whitebait) and a delicious flan and some fruit as dessert. Good and quick and relax service and just for 8.50 each with a beer and water... Second day we had gazpacho, rosada and croquetas and everything was homemade and delicious!!! Highly recommend it !!!

Just had a great lunch, menu del dia 8.50€ inc 3 courses and a drink. Fantastic food, choice of 5 or 6 starters, mains and desserts. All home made and delicious. Doesn't look much from the road, walked past here many times on holidays and not looked in but so glad we went inside. Lovely covered terrace at back with sea views. Friendly staff. Definitely be back...
Great food great value. Had the menu del dia. It had a great choice with three courses. Sat out on a covered terrace behind the bar. Very simply furnished but the staff were very friendly and welcoming. A great find
We had a lovely lunch here in a very pleasant dining area. The food was lovely and the staff were really helpful. Excellent value for €8.50 including a nice glass of red wine.
called in here for dinner having read reviews had few problems comunicating with staff but that did not spoil the visit would recomend and would go again

A restaurant where locals eat is always a good sign ! Therefore it was nice to be proven correct. The fresh fish was superb and our meal most enjoyable.
We have visited this family owned restaurant/cafe over the years. It is good plain Spanish cooking and reasonably priced.
