This was my second time visiting with my family and this time I planned on using a Mastercard gift card with a balance of $150 and at the end I was told I was not able to use it. That it had to be a gift card from the actual restaurant to be able to use to pay my bill. Thankfully I had enough money on me to pay for my family and I because it would have been a problem. I usually never write bad reviews but what I experienced today was a bad look for the restaurant. There was about 4 servers and the start of our experience was great they checked in on us and brought us our drinks. I hadn’t gone there for some time so I had to look over the menu a bit. After I decided to order the food it didn’t take too long to come out. I finished my food and they picked up my plate. We were sitting there for a while waiting for someone to bring the check. The empanadas arrived cold, which left us puzzled since we couldn't figure out who our server was. It took 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us, and neither server checked in after we received our food. We were just hoping for the bare minimum—a quick check on how we were doing or a drink refill—but instead, we had to ask someone else to bring us water because our server had disappeared for another 20 minutes. Overall, the service was terrible. The food was just okay; the quesadilla con todo was delicious, but the empanadas felt like they'd been microwaved for only 15 seconds under a desk lamp.
The staff was consistently friendly. Although we encountered some language barriers, as none of the staff spoke fluent English, they were very accommodating and attentive to our needs, so we never felt let down by the service. The portion sizes were generous, and we even had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. We accessed the menu via a QR code on the tables, but they also had oversized printed menus available at the register if needed. Overall, it was a great dining experience.

The food was mediocre, with the tequeños and empanadas served cold. Our server neglected us throughout the meal, which made the experience even worse. If I could rate it a 0 out of 5, I would, but that's not an option. We didn’t even get an opportunity to complain about the cold food since our terrible server only showed up when it was time for the check. I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs.
