Losehill house certainly not anywhere close to luxury avoid at all costs. What a disappointment Losehill House Hotel is, the website and certain booking sites would have you believe this is a luxury hotel, the price tag would certainly dictate it is. However, it is anything but, we had a thoroughly miserable time at this Hotel. Luxury has a different meaning for everyone, of course. If you are looking for peace, then Losehill House is not your place. There is no quiet place to sit and there's a lot of noise from lunch guests. We addressed this at the reception, but they said they couldn't do anything about it. As a result, we decided to look for another hotel. Unfortunately, there was no flexibility at Losehill House, and we did not receive a refund for the 3 nights we had booked. Do not go here if you are looking for peace and quiet. If you do decide to go, do not book room 14. The smell of sewage comes through the pipe into your hotel room when the windows are open.
We've just had a mini break at Losehill and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely picturesque location in the Peak District. The spa was very welcome, the evening meal was amazing, but most of all we would like to thank the staff. Every staff member we met (and there were quite a few) was extremely helpful, friendly and professional; they all really helped contribute to a wonderful break, and are a great credit to the hotel. My partner and I had an amazing spa experience at this restaurant. It was great value for money from start to finish. We received dedicated service, access to all of the spa facilities, a relaxing massage tailored to our preferences, and a delicious 2-course lunch. The views were also wonderful. We got married at Losehill house on Saturday and it was the perfect day! Jules and the team made the whole day run so smoothly and everything we asked for was never a problem they bought our dream wedding to life!
