My friend and I were doing a duck hunt bar hop for a tiktok video (acejr.5). We went to five different places and this was our last stop and my least favorite. I despise locations that have hard to find parking so we almost left after circling the place a few times. The smell was wild when we walked in but once I realized it was due to their fog machines they had running I felt a little better. The atmosphere is unique with their swamp theme. It truly felt like we were transported into a little cabin on a swamp, smell and all! The service was a little slow but it looks like there was only one person running drinks out to tables. They ran out of ducks so the server put a dirty rubber chicken...
the overall theme and decor of this place is really cool. they had netting on the ceiling, fog machines, swamp lamps and pictures of the swamp monster, however the smell that hits you as soon as you open the door is very off putting. my friend and i sat for about 10 minutes before we were greeted. our drink came with a rubber chicken that looked like it had dirt on it and this was IN our drink. when i asked the server for our check it took 10 more minutes for her to bring it. keep in mind this place is not that big and there were not many people. i watched her clean glasses and reorganize the bar while we're were waiting to leave. it was cool so see once but i have no need to go back.

Go for the drinks stay for the fun! The atmosphere is great for a date night or just hanging with friends. Many drinks to choose from and quite a large rum selection. The ambiance will make this one of your favorite goto's. Check out their website for Spotify music lists you can listen to at home.
Best drinks best prices and most of all the most friendly bartenders you'll ever meet. Just went to the last call event and I'm sad to know that they are closed. This was my go to place. The vibe you get there is calming and very welcoming. One of the best bars in Detroit!
Loved this bar! Perfect atmosphere and perfect drinks. Staff was so friendly. I'm a fan of Vegas Tiki bars and the Lost River did a great job of making me feel like I was on vacation.
Much different from your typical bar. The retro vibe along with your not so typical cocktails makes this one of my favorites on a day/night out.
