13:15 in Saint-Cirq-Lapopie... it's beautiful and hot, we've come from muziès on foot. My son wants to eat a sandwich. precisely this restaurant offers it and there are:2 free tables outside and three inside. But we're told very quickly that no, it's not possible to sit down, all being reserved. Of course it is very quickly revealed to be a lie since a couple of Dutch tourists who have not booked arrives and sees themselves giving a place outside "it's to eat ?" have they been asked before. We got our sandwiches and went to get a place in the shade. We ate an ice cream taken a pot elsewhere, obviously thinking that the france had difficulty with its tourist welcome. on holiday in this beautiful region, we visit one of the most beautiful village of france. We had lunch in this restaurant and were not disappointed. I recommend the entrance around the duck at 15,59€ a real delight and a huge plate composed of a thigh of canard confite, a large piece of local foie gras, charcuterie, and a salad with and magrets. excellent at a very reasonable price. your children will enjoy the homemade hamburger with a very thick chopped steak and large homemade fries. The half magret with ratatouille was not bad either. meals sprinkled with a shepherdac. very nice, smiling and efficient staff. I recommend this restaurant.
Following a family visit to Saint cirq lapopie on July 11, 2017, we entered the impossible restaurant to eat outside because too many (7) including 4 children. bad reception of the server limit insolent. adult dishes very well but the hamburger in the children menu are not suitable for them (sauces confits d' onions) the server advised us to go to the mcdo. The waiter threw them on the table. Not the time to eat the ice we got fired from our table! The waiter must review his professional career and his friendliness. children are not accepted in this restaurant!

there are many restaurants in st cirq lapopie and well that there was open the day we went there, unlike others? It was a Tuesday in the middle of June. we were very well welcomed there. the small terrace is well located, just on a square. we ate there the dish of the day, a steak tartare, very fresh by the particle we had. a good address to remember.
St Cirq-Lapopie may be a little too touristy but this restaurant is not a tourist trap. nice setting, server and welcoming boss. for amateurs, 2 small sweet wines in aperitif that awaken taste buds before foie gras. salads and hearty quercynois menu. a good table not to be missed if you walk through this village.
visiting st cirq, the choice of restaurants was not obvious. by chance we settled at the lamb, and after a perfect welcome we chose for me, despite the heat a cassoulet and my friend a lamb mouse. What a delight! in dessert the black foret cup was divine and garnished to wish! an address not to be missed!
It's the second time we've come to enjoy a crêpe in this place. The pancakes are very good, the house jam. the reception was very unpleasant the first time, the server being visibly extenuated on the other hand, it was charming the second time.
Absolutely delicious lunch of confit duck and roasted veg. Devoured every little bit of it too. Lovely presentation with the flowers
