We ate at this little restaurant after reading positive reviews and although we weren't disappointed it didn't wow us. We arrived at around 7.30pm and the place was empty apart from the owners and a waitress who I assumed was their daughter. A party of...four English guys arrived about 45 minutes after us which added a little much needed atmosphere. The place itself is very cosy and comfortable and we were given a warm welcome by the owners. We both chose the pakora starter which II would recommend as we both enjoyed it a lot. Went to Lou Grand Caire as a meal out with friends. Off the Grande Gargouille which can seem a bit touristy sometimes. We sat inside as the was a chill in the air and had some lovely food. he meal of the day meat was...a touch tough but in all other respects a lovely evening. Mademoiselle probably from Tibet spoke good English and was able to translate most of the menu which was a great help as our friends were Lithuanian. Would recommend. €140 for four including a bottle of wine.
My partner and I stumbled upon this restaurant while strolling through Briançon. The menu sounded so appetising we decided to give it a try, and we were not disappointed! We love trying new food, and we sampled the Nepalese dishes. It was full of subtle...flavours, spicy but not overwhelmingly so, in a lovely atmosphere, and the service was perfect. I warmly recommand it!
