Fantastic spot for breakfast! We stumbled upon this delightful restaurant situated in a charming old house. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating options. Upon entering through the front door, you head to the back of the house to place and pay for your order. After that, you can find a seat and soak in the lovely atmosphere while your food is prepared, which doesn’t take long at all. The food was absolutely incredible. There were four of us, each trying something different, and we were all extremely pleased with our choices. Louise adds a unique twist to breakfast! The yarn cakes are definitely a must-try. I appreciate their eco-friendly approach, especially with the use of feathers as coffee stirrers. However, there's one drawback: they don't offer any milk alternatives for lactose-intolerant coffee drinkers. The non-traditional layout, where you have to line up to order and then find a table, can be a bit challenging for those with mobility issues or small children, as you can't sit down until after you've placed your order. This often leads to uncomfortable clusters of people standing around. But the wait is worth it!
I visited the restaurant for breakfast and found that there were very few options for those who don’t eat meat. I was glad there was something available for me, but overall, the choices were quite limited. It was disappointing because we waited about 20 minutes in line before placing our order, and there was no indication that milk was included in almost everything on the menu.
All right! Great atmosphere on foot to all tourist shops. We sat outside on the pack around porch and enjoyed the cool morning breeze during our waiting. This place is outstanding, a little crowded but a very down home feel. And the food is the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Get the blueberry waffles because they will change your life, unless you don’t like waffles, in that case don’t be stupid, get something else and discovery a separate world of wonderful
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, especially since many other places were closed during our holiday. The walk-up counter took us by surprise, but the coffee was exceptional, and our lunch was fantastic. I highly recommend the Philly and the swinequesadilla!
The people are super friendly, the porch is totally dog friendly if you bring your canine, and the food is inspired, fresh and delicious. A must stop if you are I the area for breakfast!

Literally the absolute best restaurant in Black Mountain, and perhaps the best in the world. Not a bad thing on the menu!
