Beautiful restaurant, a good welcome but a menu at 45€ (entrance, dish, dessert) it stings a bit especially when the choice is very minimalist and a pas-to-date card, from salmon instead of a dorade (which I would have taken without any hesitation, the salmon being for me a lot too fat and insignificant) finally, I resigned to take a duck, which fortunately was excellent when I did not fan Out of price wine glass (White water at 11€ the glass, does not exaggerate, it is far from a great vintage and the red coast of Provence at 9.5€ the glass, it was a coast of Provence without more) it is better to take a bottle at 30€. We ate things different from normal, it was correct, though for us expensive for quantity/quality. Most of the menu was vegetables or fruits, as well as the main dish. Valbonne is really crowded so we imagine that this place was well connected to the tourist concentration. But in high Provence we ate much better for cheaper. The dominant quality of the Blue Loulou is authenticity. The cuisine of Gilles Ajuelos is absolutely magnificent, based on a selection of local products and combinations of refined and original ingredients. The variety of tastes, aromas, colors and textures presented in each dish makes each dish a unique experience... The welcome of the wife of Gilles, Tina, and the decor make immediately forget the noisy artifices typical of the region. Prices are more reasonable. It's really a restaurant where you have to go and come back!
Good food and very friendly service! I strongly recommend this wonderful restaurant. Although there are no vegetarian dishes on the menu, they made me an excellent main vegetarian cuisine. I took my husband to Loulou Bleu for his birthday this evening after discovering that our go-to favourite restaurant was closed for the week. We couldn't have been more pleased. The food was first class in every respect. We were presented with a small but seasonal menu that had been put together with clear thought, artistic flair and obvious passion for flavour combination. Highly recommended for a meal that goes above and beyond.
Loulou bleu, This is a delicious gastronomic spot. The harmony of colors in the plate and in the beautiful warm rooms produces a complete charm. The panais soup with parmesan and raw flower cabbage is the beginning of an explosion that continues until dessert. And then the welcome of Gilles and Tania, the quiet gaze of Loulou who ascends the guard makes you come back from the last bite!
beautiful decouvert of this restaurant with a pleasant setting with a warm welcome of the owners. We took the menu that allows us to discover the talent of the chef who has feasted with fresh products very well prepared. everything is very well dosed and tasty. We have had a very nice evening and we will come back with pleasure. an address not to be missed
The food is certainly more original than other places in Valbonne but at €45 for a 3-course fixed menu, I would expect something more refined. The setting is pretty but the brisk service didn't create a particularly relaxing ambiance. Very disppointing and we will not be returning.

Great restaurant. Excellent food and service. Proprietor chef with a real passion for food. Imaginative mezzies, absolutely delicious mains and dessert to die for! At long last a really good restaurant in Valbonne, worth a detour.
