Es un hotel con una ubicación excepcional, eso. Recepción nefasta por una chica morena fría y arrogante, habitación asignada en la parte exterior y donde sólote separa una cortina y un cristal de la zona común (a 3°C cuando había habitaciones disponibles en el interior del hotel. Spa pequeño y escaso y parking caro. En un 4* sup. es inconcebible que no haya SmartTV, pues no lo hay. Destacable el súper buen trato y empatia de Daniel, el chico que nos ayudó con el equipaje y a encontrar nuestra habitación. Creo que es un hotel alto en precio para lo que te encuentras.
We went for a coffee as we have a little baby and was raining while we passed by. We asked the receptionist, and she pointed us the lobbybar to have a sit and few minutes later she served us a coffee. We were the only people in the place, but no further attention where offered. Not even a mignardise or any suggestions were made. After a while, when the sun came back, we asked for the bill, payed and left. I think they should keep more attention into service and details. Specially for their prices, according to the 5*category...
The hotel does have a bar in the lounge area, but I can 't understand how this is listed as a separate 'reviewable ' location/place. The Villa Paulita also has a separate restaurant L 'estany which is open to the public as well as hotel guests. The bar in the hotel lounge (which I assume this page is for reviews of) but it is poor. No draught beers, no wine by the glass. Its sort of a 'pop-up ' type bar which has bottled beers. (he ran out after a few beers) If you want a beer/wine then take a short walk into town.
Es un hotel encantador, ideal para ir con la pareja. Las habitaciones están muy bien equipadas y son amplias. Tengo que decir que una noche queríamos cenar en el restaurante del mismo hotel, pero fue un desastre. El servicio lentísimo y un menú de 50€ para quedarte con hambre… cené mil veces mejor en la pizzería la noche anterior. Una lástima que el restaurante no estuviera a la altura.

El hotel es agradable y está bien situado. La habitación es amplia y cómoda, con vistas al lago. Sería bueno tener más cajones para guardar cosas, así como una tetera o cafetera en la habitación. El baño también es amplio y está bien equipado, con una buena ducha. Sin embargo, le falta algo de espacio de almacenamiento. El hotel tiene aparcamiento, pero a 20 €/día parece muy caro.
We were here for four nights in September and really enjoyed our stay. The staff was warm and helpful and the hotel was very pretty with charm and modern touches. The location is great- close to the village, but far enough away to feel peaceful. It is close to great hiking destinations and to charming villages in Spain and France.
We spend a weekend at Villa Paulita last spring and it's got all the topics of the boutique hotels. A little but well furnished lounge bar allows you to take some aperitif before going to their restaurant Origen Puigcerdà in a cozy furnished lounge. I imagine repeating the same in winter while outside is snowing... Gorgeous !
My husband and I stayed at this hotel to celebrate our anniversary and twice sat out in the garden to have an evening drink after dinner. The waiter who helped us was very sweet and even remembered our drink order for the second night. If we get to go back here someday, I'm sure we will repeat our evening drink experience!

Un hotel emblemático, posiblemente no son las 4 estrellas superior lo que lo definiría, renovado, no actualizado, pero todavía con solera. Vistas preciosas, entorno tranquilo. Las habitaciones con paredes finas, pero el servicio de masajes muy bien. Desayuno justito.
